CAN I APPLY REPEEL TO A PAINTED WALL WITH A MATTE FINISH?

We do not recommend applying Repeel to matte or flat paints. We recommend applying the product to surfaces that have been painted with Eggshell, Satin or Semi-Gloss paints.

CAN I APPLY REPEEL TO A MIRROR?

Repeel can be applied to a mirrored surface and will not leave any residue behind, however it can be difficult to reposition the product on this type of surface.

CAN I PUT REPEEL IN MY BATHROOM?

YES! Repeel can be installed in bathrooms with indirect steam and moisture.

CAN I APPLY REPEEL TO BRICK?

We do not recommend applying Repeel to textured surfaces or those that are coarse or rough.  Repeel should be applied to smooth surfaces that are in good condition; primed and painted with an eggshell, satin or semi-gloss paint.

CAN REPEEL BE APPLIED TO WOOD PANELING?

Yes, Repeel can be applied to different types of surfaces.  If the wood paneling has been there for some time, the surface or clear coat could be removed upon removal.  When dealing with rental spaces or unique indoor surfaces, we always recommend testing a small piece in a non-discreet area of the wall.

CAN REPEEL BE APPLIED TO EXISTING WALLPAPER?

Repeel can be applied to existing wallpaper however, we cannot guarantee it can be peeled off from the existing wallpaper or that it won’t damage the existing product.  Since you are working with a unique surface, we always recommend testing a sample on the existing wallpaper first.

CAN I APPLY REPEEL TO SURFACES OTHER THAN A WALL?

Yes! It is perfect for small DIY projects.  Dressers, stair risers, cabinets, bookshelves, drawers and headboards are some of our favorites!

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH REPEEL I NEED?

Measure your wall or surface and calculate the square footage. (Measuring in feet?  simply multiply L x W.  Measuring in inches?  Simply multiply L x W and divide by 144)

Although one roll covers 28 square feet, the height of your wall may create waste when aligning the pattern from panel to panel.  Please be sure to order up.

DO YOU RECOMMEND OVERLAPPING PANELS?

Yes, it is recommended that you slightly overlap from panel to panel to avoid splitting seams in environments that can be subjected to temperature variances.

IS LOT NUMBER IMPORTANT WHEN ORDERING?

When purchasing Repeel, it is important to purchase the same lot number to avoid color variances. Lot numbers are printed on every roll. Please ensure that your lot numbers for your project are the same.
